Tests for year 7 classes
I have been writing these tests in an attempt to overcome some of the problems faced in testing ungraded classes. A test that is suitable for the less able students will not be challenging enough for the more able. My plan is that for any topic there will be a series of exams, at varying levels of difficulty. All students start at level 1. To move to a higher level students must score at least 95%. Students who don't achieve this mark will stay at their own level until it is mastered. In this way we can challenge the more able students without discouraging the others with inappropriate tests.
